We had our first family shower this weekend. We have already had a book shower thrown by the preschool families and a shower thrown by the Liverpool Staff. This shower was thrown by my Mom and my sister Jamie. They invited all of my friends. This included my friends from high school and some of their moms, my friends from Camp Cheerful, my friends from Liverpool (including those people that no longer work with me each day), my friends from my Bible Study, my friend Courtney that got me and Al to consider adoption from Guatemala, and my friends that I have made through our journey over the last year. It was a great group of people to celebrate Conner's homecoming with.
The theme of the day was jungle animals. The cake was covered with jungle animals and it tasted so good. We also had breakfast goodies to eat and some yummy fruit.
The tables were decorated with parts to an animal train, which has become Conner's favorite toy to play with this week.
