6 years of marriage and counting...

Al and I used to get out of town every year on our wedding anniversary for a weekend away. Last year, we were still adjusting to me working again and having Conner home with us, so we didn't go anywhere out of town.
This year, we didn't stay out of town overnight, but we went out of town each night of our anniversary weekend. On Saturday, we went to the Farmer's Market in Medina together. I showed Conner the beautiful sunflowers that reminded me so much of our wedding. They were simply beautiful.
Then, we went on to Amish Country. We discovered that Conner loves Amish Door Apple Fritter, almost as much as Al does. I was happy to discover that they are now making Apple Fritters in a "Mommy" size, which is smaller than the original. We went to lunch at the Amish Door and then we went looking at many Amish stores and we hit the Amish Flea Market to look at "Old Cars", which is one of Conner's new favorite things. Then, we went to the Barn for dinner. What a yummy treat that was! They had this pumpkin cake that was to die for.
Today, we went to the Pancake Flip for the United Way Kickoff here in Medina County. Then we went to walk around the Berea Art Fest. Lots of beautiful chalk art work on the sidewalk. Conner was too little to do the artwork this year, but will be ready to try this again next year. He loved the music in the air and walking around or riding on Daddy's shoulders.
