Conner has begun celebrating the holiday season. Like his Dad, he can't wait! Conner already is showing Al's tendencies of loving the season and all that it encompasses. He points out Santa everywhere he sees him "Look Mommy, Ho Ho!" And when I ask, "What's his name?" He will sigh and say "Santa Claus!"
Yesterday, we celebrated Cousin Andrew's 5th birthday, by going to Amazone. Conner loved it and asked to stay there for "More", when it was time to leave. Then, we went to have dinner at Dominic's in Medina, which always is one of Mommy's favorites. They have a Cobb Salad that is to die for. Then it was onto the Lights at the Medina County Fairgrounds. We went in a caravan this time with all of the cousins with us. Our family always does this the first Friday that they are open right after the Thanksgiving holiday. Conner loves the lights and kept pointing out the lights that he knew "Look, a rocket...look moo cows...look Ho ho again!" It was so funny to listen to.
Conner loves looking at Christmas trees on TV. He will stop playing and say "Look Mommy, pretty!" He also loves to look at the decorations when we are shopping.
Today, I plan on taking him to finish shopping for the tags that I took off of the Giving Tree at work. Mommy's special friends have been exchanging gifts for more than 20 years at Christmas, so this year, we decided to donate to charity in each other's name instead. I chose three tags for two boys and one girl off of the giving tree at work-one for each of my friends. We need to find boy slippers to finish the gifts off. Three Buckeye students will have an awesome Christmas this year, because of Mommy's friends deciding that after 20 years, it was time to "do something kind for the rest of the world this Christmas time."
