Wendy has spent most of it writing thank yous and trying to find places for all of the wonderful gifts that we got at the Conner-Palcisko shower last weekend. I hit the end of the month sale at the local resale shop on Tuesday and found some clothes to get me through Spring weather for a song. Then, Conner and I hit a few garage sales on Thursday. He got an Oscar the Grouch fleece for Fall and a really warm blanket sleeper (also for Fall) and about a million compliments.
Friday, I went to see my doctor for a quick look-see. Nothing exciting, but they had a hard time getting my blood pressure, while I was holding a squirmy, wormy Conner.
Last night, I went to a Guatemalan Moms' Night Out at Wolf Creek Winery. I got lost on the way there and I didn't get an early start, because I had to wait for Al to get home from work, so I got there pretty late . I was definately the new kid on the block and I have to get new Conner pictures for my purse. The old ones that they sent us from Guatemala didn't cut it!
Conner has decided that he doesn't want to sleep any more tonight, but he doesn't want anything else to entertain him, but me. I was trying to do some little stuff, since I was awake anyway, but he only wants to be held. Thus I am perfecting the one handed typing. Wendy
