Al took me to dinner for my 40th birthday. We went to Ken Stewart's Lodge. Very nice...we sat on the patio, which yesterday was the perfect evening for that. Dinner there is an experience...took way too long for my husband! He was getting antsy.
We started with lettuce wraps and their truffle frittes. Then we split their seasonal salad. Then we had some of their patio fare. I had a lobster roll sandwich. So yummy. I had a hand-squeezed margarita with Splenda. Then for the ending...a sparkler topped my banana birthday "surprise".
It was a wonderful experience, but so pricy, we will not be repeating this on any other birthday!
