This has become quite the project. We decided that we wanted this fridge to something that we both liked. BIG MISTAKE! Second big mistake...I taught Al how to be thrifty.
So after our inital fact finding mission on Thursday night, I pretty much had my mind made up. I wanted a non-stainless steel, but stainless steel looking fridge. (Little fingerprints are precious, but I am not a good enough housekeeper to keep them off of my fridge!)I wanted no ice or water in the door, because there is no waterline on that side of the kitchen and I don't think that Al is able to figure out how to run one without destroying my kitchen as I know it, which I am pretty fond of. I also wasn't a fan of the wire racks in the freezer. I also had decided, before our fact-finding trip that we were going with french doors. So after a few stops on Thursday, I had pretty much decided what I thought we wanted. But Al is continuing to look and shop and bring more options to the table. We went looking again last night with Conner, which was not as enjoyable as going just the two of us on Thursday (Thanks again to Grammy and Poppy, who watched him, as we looked at more stores than I thought possible!)
Well, it's Sunday...I still don't have a new fridge. Why you might ask? Because Al is still in search for the *BEST DEAL*! I have created a monster! Hopefully, today will be the day that we buy the fridge. If it isn't, I may go postal yet!
