Life has gotten crazy here for a while. I have been trying to keep everything going forward as we get ready for another holiday season. I also had to get the kids in my class ready for our big feast at school and do parent teacher conferences. Something had to give!
We managed to get away with Al's Boy Scouts to Kalahari. What a great time was had by all. Conner loved the water slides, but not the water falls on the lazy river.
Mommy even snuck in a quick trip to Meijer to buy "rations" for the Scouts and hiking boot slippers for Conner.
Conner is excited for Santa Claus this year. He calls him Santa and Ho Ho. We went to sit on his lap already. They had a special event at a local mall where Santa was wearing his pajamas. Everyone who knows me knows that I was all over that. Conner wore a Blanket Sleeper and his new hiking boot slippers in the picture. He wasn't at all scared of the big guy.
Tonight, we went to the Medina Parade of Lights and to dinner to celebrate National Adoption Day. Being able to adopt Conner has been the biggest blessing in our whole lives.
