We had a busy weekend this weekend. Conner and I went shopping on Saturday to buy an apple peeler, so we could make applesauce at preschool today. It turned out well. I tried a different recipe. It was blender applesauce, which the children actually ate, instead of the chunky applesauce that they wouldn't eat, but it made our classroom smell yummy! I was also in search of pajamas for the annual preschool Pajama day! I didn't find any yet that were cheap, but nice. Cheap but nice is my mantra these days.
After our shopping trip, we went in to the shop and picked up Al to go to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. It is way over in Wickliffe. Father Tom is the "head priest dude" at this church now and they were having a fall festival and clam bake. Conner enjoyed his hot dog and the applesauce there.
Then on Sunday, we went out on the Fall Foliage Tour in Medina County. It was perfect day. We wandered around in the Hay Maze at Red Wagon Farm and went to dinner at Al's church. Conner is still too little to really appreciate a spaghetti dinner. My meal ended up all over me and Conner too.
Today, Al and Conner headed to Hartville. Al got Conner some new clothes there and bought a ton of veggies!
