We celebrated the Heinle Boys' birthday this weekend. Conner turned 1 and Al turned 40! We held the event at the Strongsville Rec Center, in the same room that we had our wedding reception. Food was a big part of the event! We had tamales, which are traditionally served at Guatemalan birthday parties. We also had chicken, pizza, jo jo potatoes, salad, watermelon,a veggie tray, a fruit tray, baked beans, and tons of desserts! Thanks to everyone who helped with serving cake, making food, cleaning up, and hauling stuff back to our house after the event was over. It was so nice to have so many people there to celebrate this event with Conner, Al, and I.
I felt frazzled through most of the event, so if I wasn't "myself" to you...please accept my apology!
We are so blessed to have great friends to celebrate the good times with! Thanks for all the wonderful gifts and the great memories that we will have of this day!
